Wow... It's been awhile.
I didn't know I haven't done any blog post for October. Yikes!! Was really busy with work, school and assignments back then. Yup, that's my life back then, just work, school and assignments. Just imagine, sleeping only a pathetic 3-5 hours a day for 1 whole month!! Gee... I think I almost die back then.
That aside, I finally get to meet up with my BFFs!! I miss them sooo... much!! It's definitely a crazy time being with them. My crazy bitches. Teehee!!
Had lunch at Zenso before heading to the National Museum!!

Had Thai Green Curry and Thai Milk Tea. I never knew that Thai food can taste so good!! It's my first time going to a Thai restaurant, and I am definitely going to add it to my food list now. Probably can take away their milk tea during my lunch break in school. Hehe...

A visit to the Singapore National Museum for the exhibition Dreams and Reality : Masterpieces of Painting, Drawing and Photography from the Musee d'Orsay, Paris.
And below are some paintings that I really like. How I wish I am rich enough to collect paintings!! Sorry about the weird angle. Heehee... I am not able to capture the beauty of the paintings. I strongly suggest you go there to see and experience the beauty yourself. I promise, you would be intoxicated by the beauty of the paintings. =)

Jean-Auguste Dominique INGRES (1780-1867)
Venus in Paphos, 1852-1853
Oil on Canvas, 91.5 x 70.3 cm

Alexandre CABANEL (1823-1889)
The Birth of Venus, 1863
Oil on canvas 130 x 225 cm

Georges ROCHEGROSSE (1859-1938)
The Knight of the Flowers, 1892
Oil on canvas, 235 x 375 cm

Henri FANTIN-LATOUR (1836-1904)
The Dubourg Family, 1878
Oil on Canvas, 146.5 x 170 cm

Claude MONET (1840-1926)
Study of a Figure Outdoors: Women with a Parasol Looking to the Right, 1886
Oil on canvas, 131 x 88 cm

Marianne STOKES (1855-1927)
The Young Girl and Death, c.1908
Oil on Canvas, 95 x 135 cm

Winslow HOMER (1836-1910)
Summer Night, 1890
Oil on canvas, 76.7 x 102 cm
And the most important and popular painting of this exhibition... Starry Night Over the Rhone by Vincent Van Gogh. I once went to this exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh's paintings at the Art & Science Museum, but it is just digitally printed and it's very disappointing. And now seeing the real thing, I just can't believe I have the opportunity to be able to see it!! It's definitely an honor... I was completely intoxicated by this piece of beauty.

Vincent VAN GOGH (1853-1890)
Starry Night Over the Rhone, 1888-1889
Oil on canvas, 72.5 x 92cm
In my opinion, this is the most outstanding painting of all. The painting style of Van Gogh with the thick strokes gives it so much tension, expression, attitude and style. And perhaps, the knowledge of Vincent Van Gogh biography affects the way I read his painting in a way.

NEXT!!
We went to the Singapore History Gallery. Let the pictures do the talking instead. =)

Sorry... Was fascinated by the coffin.

It is always good to remain M Y S T Y R I O U S....

Dont reveal yourself too much.

Let them do the guessing and wait to see how they think of you and understand a person's personalities better.

Just might be the three of us in our previous life. HAHAHAH!!! Opps!!

Had dinner at Sapporo Ramen Sanomaru!!

H & M afterwards... This is the only dress I like there. Talk about being over-rated and commercialize. See how the media influence the people. ;)
